Amazon FBA Calculator India

The Amazon.in fee stack on the 2026 rate card.

Amazon FBA fee calculator: category-based profit model

The listing

What it sells for, what it costs you to land, and which referral rate Amazon charges.

The packed unit

Measure the box you ship, not the product. These drive the size tier and the dimensional weight.

Your assumptions

The inputs Amazon does not set for you. Each one moves the answer, so none of them defaults to the flattering value.

Size tier and clearance

How close this unit sits to the ceiling of its tier. Crossing one of these is what moves a fee, and it is the same arithmetic behind a mis-tiered charge.

Standard

weight handling not modelled

Billed weight1000 / 1000 g100%

From 1000 g, rounded up to a 500 g multiple.

Tightest constraint is billed weight, with 0 g before this unit moves into the next weight step.

Size classes

  • Standard (current tier)
  • Heavy & Bulky

Heavy & Bulky is decided from your dimensions, weight and category. Amazon publishes those trigger thresholds outside this rate card, so no headroom bar is drawn for longest side or girth.

Weight handling is not modelled yet, so the step above sets the band but not a charge.

Amazon applies 18% GST on top of every fee shown. Fees here are pre-GST.

Not modelled yet (5)
  • Easy Ship and Seller Flex rate cards (this table is FBA/FC only)
  • Closing fee product-group variants (#, ##, A, B, C, D)
  • STEP programme levels — Amazon publishes rates for Standard only
  • Sell More Save More multi-unit discounts
  • GST on Amazon fees

Net profit above is an upper bound, not an estimate. It excludes the components marked as not modelled, so your real profit is lower by that amount.Closing fee: Amazon's page publishes the Rs 0-300 and Rs 301-500 bands as text but leaves Rs 501-1,000, and above Rs 1,000 for all but four categories, in its closing-fee image table. Break-even price

Not derived for this marketplace: the closing fee moves with the selling price, so a single break-even figure would not hold across the bands.

Max product cost

₹1,293

The most you can pay per unit at this price before the SKU stops making money.

Fee overcharges start in the same arithmetic as the tiers above: when Amazon's recorded dimensions are larger than the unit actually is, it is billed in a higher tier until the record is corrected.

Common questions

FBA calculator FAQs

Because Amazon.in charges a stack rather than one fulfillment fee. A single order carries a referral fee, a closing fee fixed by price band, a weight handling fee that changes with how far the parcel travels, a pick and pack fee, monthly storage, and GST on the total of those. A calculator that shows one fulfillment charge and a referral percentage will understate what Amazon actually deducts. This page itemises each component as its own line, including the one it cannot yet price, so you can see which part is moving when your margin moves.

Your own account

Now check what you were actually charged

This calculator models what a unit should cost you to sell. An audit runs the other way. You export your own reports from Seller Central, the analysis works from those files, and it rebuilds your unit ledger per FNSKU so you can see where Amazon's balance and your own disagree. You see what is recoverable before anything else is agreed.
